Grout can create a beautiful aesthetic for your tile flooring or bathroom backsplash. Cleaning your tiles is very important, but you should not forget to specifically target your grout for a deep clean. Harsh chemicals, such as bleach have a tendency to fade any coloring on your grout. A baking soda and vinegar solution is a safe, all natural, and easy way to clean your grout.
– Make a baking soda paste with water. In a small dish or container, gradually add and mix in water to some baking soda to create a paste.
– Apply the paste to the grout you are cleaning using a toothbrush or grout brush.
– Fill a spray bottle with white vinegar. Spray the grout that has been covered with baking soda.
– Allow the baking soda and vinegar to mix and react for about 10 minutes.
– Scrub the grout with your brush of choice. Rinse the grout with water, and dry the area with a clean rag. Enjoy your deeply cleaned grout!
