Baking soda is more than just a cooking item, it is a great all natural green cleaning product that has a wide variety of uses. It can be used as an abrasive for scrubbing stains and is a wonderful odor absorbent. Read on for 15 great cleaning uses for baking soda.

2 – Deep Cleaning Greasy Dishes and Pans: Add some extra power to your dish washing soap by adding in baking soda. Using a hot water soak and some scrubbing, you should be able to get off the extra grease on your kitchenware.
3 – Kitchen Scrubbing: Use the power of a baking soda and water mixture to scrub your kitchen surfaces and appliances, including stainless steel, countertops, and microwave.
4 – Upholstered Furniture Deodorizer: Sprinkle baking soda on your furniture and let it sit and absorb odors. Vacuum it up afterwards.
